 ter students. You need to bring you own calculator. On Wednesday the 7th o
 f June\, Shell is coming to us for a small but very interesting case study
 .  We will start at 14:00 and will end no later than 17:00. The case stud
 y itself will only take about 90 minutes.  Subject case study Shell has t
 he ambition to become a Net Zero Energy and Chemicals company by 2050.  T
 o do so\, Shell is working on facilities that can sustainably and affordab
 ly provide energy to customers. A great example is the HEFA biofuels facil
 ity in Rotterdam\, where biobased oils are transformed into diesel for hea
 vy road transport. A large challenge in making making chemical processes s
 ustainable is in decarbonizing their utilities\, such as steam\, and auxil
 iary systems. In this case study\, you will take a deep dive in how to ene
 rgize the supplementary process related systems of Shells first\, large sc
 ale biofuels facility\, the Rotterdam HEFA plant.
