DESCRIPTION:This case study is meant for 3rd year bachelor students and mas
 ter students. You need to bring you own calculator. On Wednesday the 22nd
  of November\, Shell is coming to us for a small but very interesting cas
 e study.  We will start at 14:00 and will end no later than 17:00. The ca
 se study itself will only take about 90 minutes.  Subject case study Shel
 l has the ambition to become a Net Zero Energy and Chemicals company by 20
 50.  To do so\, Shell is working on facilities that can sustainably and a
 ffordably provide energy to customers. A great example is the HEFA biofuel
 s facility in Rotterdam\, where biobased oils are transformed into diesel 
 for heavy road transport. A large challenge in making making chemical proc
 esses sustainable is in decarbonizing their utilities\, such as steam\, an
 d auxiliary systems. In this case study\, you will take a deep dive in how
  to energize the supplementary process related systems of Shells first\, l
 arge scale biofuels facility\, the Rotterdam HEFA plant. Note: If you regi
