Lecture about Turkstream

KIVI Hydrocarbon Technologies and Energy Transition organises a lecture about the Turkstream Pipeline Project at Applied Sciences on the 21st of November. It is free for students! There will be coffee and tea at the start. The lecture will start at 16:00h and afterwards there will be drinks and snacks at Bar het Lab. The schedule is:

15.30h: Start with coffee and tea
16.00h: Start lecture
17.30h: Drinks at Bar het Lab

 South Stream Transport BV, with headquarters in Amsterdam, is the projectdeveloper of the Turkstream Project. Turkstream is a high pressure gaspipeline from Anapa in Russia through the Black Sea at 2200m depth to Kiyikoy in Turkey. The construction phase is almost at an end and starting December 31 there will be gas flowing from Russia to Turkey and further on to Europe. The lecture will give an impression of the technical challenges and how the projectteam handled these challenges. There will also be an explanation about how the project organisation and management helped to the succes of the project, at which all the targets have been achieved.
